Each Friday during Westwood | Kawakubo, we’re open late. Experience the NGV at night as it comes alive – think fashion, two global icons, and a soundtrack by Melbourne’s favourite DJs. Your Friday Nights ticket includes unlimited entry to Westwood | Kawakubo, an exhibition of works by Vivienne Westwood and Rei Kawakubo of Comme des Garçons, from 6–10pm, live DJ sets, plus food and drinks available to purchase.

MUSIC
Great Hall, 6–10pm

DJ Small FRY is the host of Mooncake on Triple R which celebrates diverse sounds from Asia and artists of the Asian-diaspora.

About the Exhibition

Westwood | Kawakubo

Pairing two of the most influential fashion designers in recent history, Vivienne Westwood and Rei Kawakubo of Comme des Garçons, Westwood | Kawakubo showcases over 140 designs that explore the commonalities and differences between the two designers’ work.

Today, their critically acclaimed collections are celebrated globally for questioning conventions of taste, gender and beauty, as well as challenging the very form and function of clothing.
