Are you a teenager looking for creative activities these holidays? Join the NGV Teen Council at one of our free art making workshops held at NGV Australia. Meet like-minded people and develop your skills with Melbourne-based artist Rubii Red. During this workshop you will use Rubii’s tips and techniques to develop and design your own original character.

Artist: Rubii Red
Melbourne based artist Rubii Red is a proud Lama Lama woman from Cape York, QLD. Anime and comic books are a strong influence on her work which includes portraiture, abstract line work, character design and fan-art. Rubii uses her art to speak about issues that are important to her and her community. She wants to see more First Nations figures represented in media, especially in gaming, streaming, film and television.

These workshops are free and drop by for teenagers. No booking required and materials are provided. No art-making experience necessary. This workshop will repeat on Friday 8 July.
