Kamilaroi artist Reko Rennie’s newest artwork UNMISTAKABLY AUS, 2025, is the design for the 25/26 Football Australia Home jersey.
Celebrating the release of the collection and this unique collaboration, NGV design store, in partnership with Nike, hosts an exclusive football kit signing with the artist at The Ian Potter Centre: NGV Australia, Fed Square.
Taking as its palette Australia’s iconic green and gold, Reko Rennie’s UNMISTAKABLY AUS was recently on display at NGV as part of the exhibition REKOSPECTIVE: The Art of Reko Rennie. Rennie’s artwork translates an ancient chevron design often found on message sticks, traditional First Nations cultural objects that were used to carry messages between peoples, into a bold and kinetic work that embraces contemporary and traditional references.
Purchase the latest Matildas’ and Socceroo’s jersey in store at NGV (RRP$125) and then have this personally signed by Rennie, the first artist in the history of football to be commissioned to design a national kit.
