Live stream Richard Mosse in Conversation

Celebrating the world premiere of his new moving image work Broken Spectre, 2022, Irish artist Richard Mosse with his long-time collaborator, Australian composer Ben Frost, shares insights into the making of the work in a special after-hours conversation hosted by NGV Curator of Contemporary Art, Amita Kirpalani.

Filmed over three years, Broken Spectre is a powerful response to the devastating and ongoing impact of deforestation in the Amazon Rainforest presented across an immersive 20-metre widescreen panorama.

The evening includes a glass of wine on arrival provided by Yering Station and an exclusive opportunity to view the work from 5.30–6.45pm, before its world premiere to the public on Saturday 1 October.

Limited copies of the accompanying book that documents the project through powerful photographic works will be available for purchase, including a book signing with the artist.
