Roger Kemp: Visionary Modernist traces the evolution of the artist’s career, from his earliest paintings of symbolic landscapes to his late abstract works. Through paintings, prints and sketches, the exhibition reveals an artist whose interest went beyond figurative and landscape art – he wished ‘to make visible the invisible’.

To mark the opening of the exhibition, Michel Kemp leads audiences on a tour of the exhibition sharing personal reflections on her father, a unique and enigmatic artist, with NGV curator David Hurlston.
