Explore a story of love and couture when NGV Assistant Curator of Fashion and Textiles, Charlotte Botica interviews designer Sonia Cappellazzo about growing up in a first-generation migrant family and how it shaped her love of fashion.

Sonia Cappellazzo
Sonia Cappellazzo is the Founder and Creative Director of luxury brand Cappellazzo. With nearly three decades of experience, Sonia crafts luxurious bridal, ready-to-wear and red-carpet gowns with a focus on craftsmanship, heritage and artisanal techniques.

Charlotte Botica
Charlotte Botica is Assistant Curator of Fashion and Textiles at the National Gallery of Victoria (NGV). She holds an Associate Degree in Fashion Design and Technology (RMIT University), Bachelor of Textile Design (Massey University) and Masters of Cultural Heritage and Museum Studies (Deakin University).
