Grollo Equiset Garden
Ground Level

The NGV Garden comes alive as we celebrate the best of Melbourne music, food, bars and entertainment with expanded seating and picnic areas to enjoy. Grab a drink, a bite to eat and enjoy music every weekend from 12–5pm in the garden as the NGV presents a line-up of local Melbourne musicians, bands and DJs on the Triennial Stage.

12–1pm

Freedom Fly x Philip Thomas

Taking listeners anywhere off through the worlds of ambient, hip-hop and rock to spiritual jazz, harpist-pianist Freedom Fly collaborates with guitarist-producer Phillip Thomas to seamlessly meld acoustic with electric into a single, dreamlike sound. Featuring drummer Otis Narbutas, this rainbow-harp trio is groove driven as much as it is lush, emotive and powerful, comprised of talented musicians who have played in many bands and sessions across Melbourne’s diverse arts community.

1.30–5pm

Jade Zoe (DJ Set)

Jade Zoe is a Melbourne based DJ, producer, event curator and presenter. Her journey started at the Favela Rock parties back in 2010 where she played her first set. Since that day, Jade has held down residencies in London, played Festivals in Europe, interviewed the biggest names in music and helped to define the sound and aesthetic of Australia’s contemporary club scene. Jade is known for her genre-bending and dance floor friendly sets that take in RnB, Trap, Hip Hop, Dancehall, Grime, Pop and everything in between (and on the edges).
