The NGV Garden will come alive all summer as we celebrate the best of Melbourne music, food, bars and entertainment with expanded seating and picnic areas to enjoy. Grab a drink, a bite to eat and enjoy music every weekend from 12–5pm in the garden as NGV partners with Melbourne Music Week-Extended to present a line-up of local Melbourne musicians, bands and DJs on the Triennial Summer Stage.

12–1pm

KYE

Melbourne based, Zimbabwe born, London raised artist KYE takes influence from the likes of Kehlani, Solange and NAO. KYE’s modern take on neo-soul is fuelled by her formidable songwriting, effortless vocal and vast network of collaborators in Melbourne’s increasingly renowned community of creatives in R&B, hip-hop and future soul.

1.30–2.30pm

Cool Out Sun

Cool Out Sun are a unique cross-cultural project composed of the super powers that are N’fa Jones, Sensible J and Nui Moon. The collective often invite a range of artist’s influences to collaborate during live shows, diversifying an ever changing, seasonal soundscape in world/roots music. Earning radio support across the country, flooding festival stages and being nominated for Live Music Victoria & AIR Awards, Cool Out Sun are the perfect groove for summer.

2.30–4.45pm

Love Sensation DJs

After establishing themselves as hosts of the underground late night dance parties for which they are named, Love Sensation DJs Milo Eastwood of PBS and DJ Lou Rose are fearless purveyors of an ‘anything goes’ dancefloor. Show up and be treated to some hot disco side-by-side with euro-pop and 90s house bangers.
