Using the NGV to Teach is a series of free online programs introducing ideas and strategies for incorporating art and design into teaching and learning in specific curriculum areas. Presented by NGV educators.
In March we focus on key works from the NGV Collection by First Nations artists. Discover ways to use art and design as a starting point to bring First Nations perspectives into your classroom, prompting discussion of concepts such as connection to Country, continuation of cultural traditions and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories. This session is suitable for teachers of all levels and curriculum areas, including pre-service teachers.
