Make a small woven mat with senior Mualgal artist Paula Savage. Working across weaving, carving, tie-dying and jewellery making, Paula is deeply influenced by her connection to the reefs off the coast of Lag Mua (Moa Island) in the Torres Strait.

In this 45-minute workshop suitable for ages 12 years and over, you will learn how to create a small woven mat using seagrass, raffia and Paula’s ‘one twist’ weaving method.

Numbers are limited, so booking is recommended.
