Now in its 29th year, the NGVWA Spring Lunch is a highly anticipated date in the event calendar. Taking place on the first Tuesday of September each year, and held at the NGV’s Great Hall, the Spring Lunch hosts up to 600 guests and is a wonderful opportunity to entertain friends, hear an interesting speaker, bring out a new Spring dress and contribute to art acquisitions for the NGV.

Past speakers have included actor Rachel Griffiths, journalists Annabel Crabb and Caroline Wilson, playwright Joanna Murray Smith, comedian Marg Downey, garden designer Paul Bangay and dancer Li Cunxin.

Tickets for this event can sell out within a few days, so stay close to the website or sign on to our mailing list so that you can be informed as soon as tickets go on sale.

The NGVWA Annual Spring Lunch raffle (permit 10493/19) was held at the NGV on Tuesday 3 September, and drawn at 2pm.

The winners are:
1st Prize Carol Castricum
2nd Prize Sheryl Coughlin
3rd Prize Susanne de Vienne
4th Prize Sarah Guest

The NGVWA sincerely thanks everyone for purchasing a ticket in this raffle and floral centrepieces created by Flowers Vasette. All proceeds support art acquisition at the NGV.
