Strapless, gold and silver evening dress. Fitted at the waist with a full skirt held out by six internal petticoats made up of various weights of netting. The outer fabric features a repeat pattern of diamonds embroidered in gold thread and filled with gold square sequins. The diamonds are narrow and graduate in size becoming taller and wider at the hemline. The ground around the diamonds is embroidered with silver threads worked vertically with central sprinkles of small silver sequins. The dress is finished with a gold lamé sash that fastens around the waist hooking at the back. The dress fastens with a metal zip at the centre back and internally with metal hooks. The bodice is lined in silk that incorporates a boned corselet.
