Physical description
Asymmetrical but essentially circular form, with a raised, vigorously-worked rim; the surfaces are scored, ruptured and broadly-modelled throughout; 'savage' radial tears traverse the form; the deep reddish-brown and grey mottled surfaces are consistent with the wood-firing technique.
