The Blade headpiece has a silver plated headband comprising three strips on the left side, which taper to two bands on the right side. Attached to the right side is a series of seven blades. The top of each blade is covered with a metal sheath finely engraved with an intricate paisley style design. The blades are joined to a curved ear cuff. They fan out to cover the right cheek of the wearer. An additional curved metal length runs from the centre of the crown, following the line of the head and finishing at the nape of the neck, holding the headpiece in position.
