Physical description
The painting depicts fruits of mima bodii (literally: ‘female’ bodii’), one of the varieties which has roughly spherical fruit the size and colour of orange of mature oranges. The fruits are represented by the black roundels outlined in white and red arranged in a column in the centre of the design.
