Top Arts After Hours is a teen event offering an exclusive viewing of the Top Arts 2024 exhibition with music, artist workshops and the opportunity to meet the artists and view their art portfolios.

Drawing Workshop with Arthur Foulkes, 6-8pm
Join Top Arts alumni Arthur Foulkes in an artist-led workshop and reimagine still life drawing by finding inspiration in the everyday. This drop-by workshop, Arthur will share different experimental drawing techniques and guide you through a series of activities to channel your creative thinking. Arthur is currently studying painting at Victorian College of the Arts and exhibited artwork twice in the 2022 and 2023 Top Arts exhibitions.
Artist Discussion Hosted by NGV Teen Council, 6.30-7pm
Ever wondered how Top Arts comes together? Audiences will delve into the creative journey behind the exhibition as they join NGV Teen Council members in an exclusive interview with Top Arts Curators and a 2024 Top Arts artist, providing unique insights into the making of Top Arts 2024 and the collaborative process that brought this exhibition to life. Top Arts 2024
For three decades, this much-loved annual exhibition has provided a platform for the next generation of artists across the state to showcase their talent, passion and ingenuity. Top Arts 2024 features the most exceptional work from students who completed the new VCE study designs of Art Making and Exhibiting and Art Creative Practice in 2023. The exhibition promises a fascinating survey of the curious, creative and innovative spirit of young artists.
