Are you a high school student aged 15 years and up with a passion for art and design?
We want to hear from you!
The NGV is recruiting a group of enthusiastic young people to join the NGV Teen Council 2027.
Each year, a new cohort of teens gets an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at gallery operations across multiple departments. NGV Teen Council members actively engage with NGV staff and contribute to NGV teen programs and events. Meetings are held on site at the NGV from 4.30–6pm on one weekday each month, from February through September. Occasionally, meetings may be scheduled during school holidays.
Applications close 29 November 2026. Please note places are limited, and successful applicants will be notified in mid-December 2026.
For all enquiries, please contact us via our online form.
‘Being part of the council was the best part of my year. I got to meet so many amazing people, experience new things and learn about new careers in the arts.’
– NGV Teen Council Member 2026
