Physical description
Hand knitted stockings of pink silk thread and highlight silver gilt thread. The stockings are knitted to shape for the feet, heel, and ankles and finish just under the knee. A trellis pattern worked in silver gilt thread is worked into the seam running up the leg. At the ankle motifs of birds and flowers referred to as clocks are also worked in silver thread.
