Physical description
This handbuilt flask has a globular body, round base and a tall tapering neck which flares out slightly at the rim. The fabric is a combination of red and black polish. The neck and half the body are black, the base and other half of the body red. With the exception of the base region the entire vessel is decorated with incised sets of diagonal parallel lines. Some of these sets of lines are boarded with broken incised lines. Vetically incised lines accentuate the rim and two holes, either side of the rim were inserted pre-firing. Incised single and double rows of circles are also on the neck.
