Physical description
This white A-line dress is composed in three sections. The upper and lower thirds are made of luxurious guipure cotton lace reminiscent of seventeenth century Venetian gros point needle lace. Made in fine chemical lace, the bold floral motifs are suspended as if in mid-air. The centre section of the dress is made of rayon fabric. Expertly constructed, the neckline, sleeves and hem are finished with rolled edging. Fastenings through the centre back are cleverly hidden behind fastidiously cut flowers and motifs.
