Physical description
Lidded bowl with horizontal, horse-shoe shaped strap handles either side, each flanked by a small lug. Ring base with very wide stand-area, leaving only a small central recess. Plain black all over except the rim top and stand-ring which are red-washed. Plain black knobbed lid. The knob has a raised edge, its top flat reserved and red-washed, also a reserved area on top of the knob around the central hole. The natural clay is pink/buff.
