Physical description
Textile length constructed from circular pieces of Shantung silk connected together in a grid-like fashion by machine stitched lines of thread. The circles are screenprinted with Venetian braid patterns taken from a 16th century pattern book in the lace study collection of the Powerhouse Museum, Sydney.
