Enjoy the (second) Last Day of Summer at the NGV

Save the (second) last day of summer, Sunday 27 February, for an afternoon of free live music with a Kiwi flavour at the National Gallery of Victoria.

Kick back, bring along a picnic rug and enjoy the live music and delicious food and drink on offer.

This is also the final chance to see Unnerved: The New Zealand Project, featuring the outstanding work of 26 contemporary New Zealand artists.

Dr Gerard Vaughan, Director, NGV said this is the perfect opportunity to view the hugely popular Unnerved exhibition and enjoy the spectacular surrounds of the garden.

“Join us during our 150thanniversary for this celebration of summer, art and live music in the sculpture garden, one of the NGV’s hidden gems. Don’t miss it!”

Last Day of Summer will feature performances from:

  • Lawrence Arabia
  • The Frowning Clouds
  • The Twerps

Last Day of Summer will run from 12–6pm on Sunday 27 February in the Grollo Equiset Garden at NGV International, St Kilda Road. Alcohol cannot be brought onto the premises but will be available for sale (18+ ID required).
