With a career that spanned eighty-five years, Eva Zeisel was one of the most successful industrial designers of the twentieth century.

Forging her career at a time when women were expected to marry and become full time mothers, what ultimately defines Eva Zeisel’s career and sets her apart from all other designers is the sensuous beauty, humour and the gentle humanity that pervades her work.

Amanda Dunsmore, in conversation with Myf Doughty, considers Eva Zeisel’s remarkable life and why she is regarded as one of the most significant tableware designers of the twentieth century.

This talk will be delivered online via Webex Events.
