Thandi Phoenix

Thandi Phoenix is a unique, driving force in the Australian music scene, capturing audiences and new fans through her electric performances and killer tracks. With songs that blend pop with electronica and raw storytelling, Thandi has performed with Ta-ku and Wafia at the Sydney Opera House and joined major festivals including Splendour in the Grass, Soulfest and Bluesfest.

Underground Sundae

Fashion paper into jewellery with Melbourne-based contemporary jeweller Annemieke Ytsma from Underground Sundae. With a DIY approach Annemieke pays homage to the relationship between trash and treasure, mixing everyday objects with precious stones. Inspired by the jewellery designer’s imagery, everyone is invited to create a paper neckpiece to flaunt at this year’s Art Party.

DJ Slymewave
DJ Slymewave aka Joanna Syme from Big Scary is bringing all the beats. From championing the current indies, dropping some RnB, or making you move with the heroes of Soul, it’s sure to be a good time.

Terra Rouge

Students from Collingwood College, Brianna O’Neill, Sophie Nguyen and Miabella Vaughan perform together as Terra Rouge. With soothing vocals, deep bass and harmonic keys, the group will perform for the first time at the NGV on the night of Art Party.

KAWS: Companionship in The Age of Loneliness

Brian Donnelly aka KAWS, is one of the most prominent and prolific artists of his generation. His body of work straddles the worlds of art and design to include paintings, murals, large-scale sculptures, street and public art, and graphic and product design. KAWS: PLAYTIME, is an interactive and immersive exhibition space featuring a photobooth activity.

Keith Haring | Jean-Michel Basquiat: Crossing Lines

In an unprecedented, world premiere exhibition, the National Gallery of Victoria presents the work of two of the most significant and influential artists of the late twentieth century in Keith Haring | Jean-Michel Basquiat: Crossing Lines. Exclusive to Melbourne, the exhibition offers new and fascinating insights into their unique visual languages and reveals, for the first time, the many intersections between their lives, practices and ideas.
