Artist Troy Emery engages children and families in an interactive art-making program highlighting the importance of animals within our eco-system, inspired by the NGV Triennial theme of Conservation. Children can cut, collage and create their own animal face using a free, printable NGV activity template designed with Troy.

Artist: Troy Emery

Troy is an artist based in Melbourne whose practice includes sculpture using textiles, painting and drawing. Troy’s work is held in various private and public collections.

Online Event Instructions

This program for primary school aged children will be delivered online then available to watch online. We look forward to hearing your questions or comments via the comments section.

This program includes an art-making demonstration. Children may like to make along with Troy, we suggest having a colour printout of this downloadable activity sheet, cardboard, scissors and coloured pencils or markers ready. Alternatively you can watch, take inspiration and create later.
