Girl, Interpreted is a bilingual comedy web series made in Melbourne.

Lillian, a nervous Mandarin interpreter, stutters and stumbles her way through a world of ‘hectic’ cultural misunderstanding.

Inspired by local writer and director Grace Feng Fang Juan’s professional experience as an interpreter, the series follows the heroine as she enters into the lives of Chinese migrants during crucial moments and is tasked with voicing their grievances, passions and pleas to the wider Australian community.

For Lunar New Year, all five episodes of Girl, Interpreted will screen every 30 minutes from 2–4pm. Episodes run for 5 minutes each.

《莉莉译东西》是一部在墨尔本拍摄的双语网络短喜剧。

女主角莉莉是一名普通话口译员，她在充满东西文化误解的日常工作生活中紧张结巴地一路摸爬滚打。这部剧由本地编剧兼导演冯方娟，根据她的专业口译工作经历创作而成，细述了莉莉在华人移民群体中，经历的种种令人哭笑不得的翻译关键时刻，以及她如何为有需要的人巧言辩护及表达各种诉求。

在农历新年期间，短剧《莉莉译东西》的所有五集将在下午2点到4点之间每半小时一次滚动播出。每集时长5分钟。
