Often the first step in the creative process for a designer is putting pen to paper to sketch out an idea.
Drawing inspiration from the pieces on display in The Krystyna Campbell-Pretty Fashion Gift, Members are invited to learn the techniques and skills of fashion illustration in an after-hours workshop led by designer and illustrator Angie Réhe.
Techniques for sketching from the mannequin and sketching onto fashion figures will be demonstrated and guests will leave with a small collection of original artworks.
Facilitator
Angie Réhe is a Melbourne-based fashion illustrator and educator whose work celebrates her love of both art and fashion, having worked for some time as a fashion designer. Her work has been sought by clients including Vogue, Elle, Harpers Bazaar, L’Officiel and Jimmy Choo.
Outcomes
- Learn how to sketch from the mannequin and capture the most important details.
