Peter Drew’s Aussie posters can be seen on street walls in Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane and small rural towns in between. Through these posters, showing vintage portraits with the word AUSSIE in big bold letters, Drew aims to draw attention to historical and contemporary xenophobia and racism.

Recently acquired by the NGV, a selection of these posters are on display in the We Change the World exhibition.

Reflecting on the power of art to influence change, Drew speaks in conversation with NGV curator Katharina Prugger about the series.

This program will be delivered online. You can access the program 10 minutes before the start time via the link above.
