QUEER: Stories from the NGV Collection shines a light on the NGV Collection to examine and reveal the queer stories works of art can tell. Gain insight into some of the stories, ideas and themes presented in this expansive exhibition through a series of conversations with the NGV curatorial team behind QUEER: Stories from the NGV Collection.

Curatorial Conversations will run over Saturday 19 March and Saturday 26 March as part of QUEER X Midsumma programming.

Queer spaces – From the home to the artist’s studio to the nightclub, physical spaces have often been sought out by queer people as sites of refuge, safety, desire, community and resistance. Join exhibition co-curators Meg Slater and Pip Wallis in conversation exploring the spaces that have historically been significant sites for by queer people as expressed in artworks in QUEER: Stories from the NGV Collection.
