QUEER: Stories from the NGV Collection shines a light on the NGV Collection to examine and reveal the queer stories works of art can tell. Gain insight into some of the stories, ideas and themes presented in this expansive exhibition through a series of conversations with the NGV curatorial team behind QUEER: Stories from the NGV Collection.

Curatorial Conversations will run over Saturday 19 March and Saturday 26 March as part of QUEER X Midsumma programming.

Queer Fantastic: Imagination and fantasy have long existed as realms of queer possibility, within which queerness is figured through transformation, ambiguity, surfaces and symbols, rather than through real-world acts or identities. Join exhibition curators Angela Hesson and Pip Wallis to unpack these themes, and how they are expressed through art in Queer: Stories from the NGV Collection.
