Pierre-Auguste Renoir

Pierre-Auguste Renoir’s artistic style underwent many transformations throughout his career. He was constantly trying to improve his technique by learning, experimenting and accepting his mistakes. This week, take a look at Renoir’s monumental painting Dance at Bougival, 1883, and explore the combination of his Impressionist technique and Classical influences.
