In his exploration proposal Jack has been able to provide detailed evidence of how he wants to develop his design process. He has described the focus and subject matter he will explore throughout his design process: “Overcoming Adversity” and how people do this. Jack has included personal imagery as part of his proposal to show the kind of work that he would like to make and to show how colour creates different moods and feelings within artworks. Jack describes how he wants to use the environment to explore emotions and review his own personal experiences.

Jack goes on to show how he is using watercolour and different amounts of water in his application to achieve the desired effect.

There is also discussion of the way he blended colours using a limited palette and then added an extra colour – blue – to create tonal variation. He felt that this was not successful and this is all clearly documented.
