How can the form and proportion of an object create a sense of balance?
NGV Curator Amanda Dunsmore discusses a classical Greek vase, the amphora, a form which has remained a reference point from antiquity to the present day. Draftsman and ceramist Shane Kent shares a work in the NGV Collection that inspires balance and reflects on how balance and proportion informs his own creative practice.
