Physical description
A small sculpture of a scholar court official dressed in official robe and wearing an official’s hat. He is raising his left hands with his palm facing the viewer in what appears as a gesture of do not fear in Buddhist statues. He is resting his right hand on his knee. Carved in wood, the statue is covered in gold lacquer.
