A Chinese beauty is wearing a Chinese costume with a blue top with wide sleeves and voluminous white trousers. The blue top has wide borders decorated with chrysanthemums. Wearing ornate hair ornaments and earrings, she is holding a book in her right hand. She is sitting in a chair beside a red covered table with a smoking pipe and a red vase with flowers. Her right bound foot is covered by the trouser and her left bound foot covered by a stroke of white colour.
