Physical description
Hand built ear lug flask. Two lugs have been pinched out on either side of the shoulder of the body. The body is globular with a rounded base. The neck tapers in towards the top before flaring out to an everted rim. The jar is highly decorated with two sets of zig-zag incisions just below the rim. Below these holes are three vertically arranged diamond incisions. A chain of impressed dots marks the division between neck and body. A similar series of dots runs below the lugs which are also incised. Two sets of three vertically arranged incised diamonds are present on either side of the body. The incisions were originally lime filled.
