PUBLIC POSTERS: 12–22 MAR, 24 HRS DAILY
EXHIBITION: 12–20 MAR, MON–FRI, 9AM–5PM
The Counterfactual City series presents visions for public sites displayed as street posters erected around the city; these propositions are not based on scenarios that we know, but ones that should, could or would have been. Predicated on a counterfactual notion – a singular ‘what if?’ – each poster presents a radical alternative to the existing status quo of urban development. This series demonstrates how we might effect change to policies through speculative design.

Please Note: for an event Map and to view the series exhibition, visit RMIT Design Hub, Level 3. Or follow and visit the Counterfactual City projects at various locations around Melbourne via the event Instagram and website.
