Join NGV Senior Curators Dr Miranda Wallace and Dr Ted Gott in this LIVE virtual tour of French Impressionism from the Museum of Fine Art, Boston, an exhibition featuring works by Claude Monet, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Edgar Degas, Camille Pissarro, Mary Cassatt and more – including 79 works that have never-before-been exhibited in Australia.

Starting in the Fontainebleau forest with the influence of the Barbizon painters, Wallace and Gott will share lesser-known stories that bring to life the artists, key relationships, moments and themes that define French Impressionism.
