The Koorie Heritage Trust is collaborating with the National Gallery of Victoria’s Contemporary Design and Architecture Department to deliver a free one-day professional development intensive for Australian Indigenous jewellery practitioners. Learn about developing, making and marketing your jewellery product, including tips on material sourcing, pricing and refining your design.
Speak with a range of established First Nations practitioners, and network with industry professionals who work in Melbourne’s commercial jewellery sector. Lunch and afternoon tea provided. This intensive is for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander creatives only.
Six sponsored places are available for those travelling from regional Victoria to cover travel and accommodation expenses.
Participants are also invited to attend Black is the new Blak: Australian First Nations Women in Fashion.
Please note this event will be held at NGV International, meet at the Information Desk in Federation Court.
