Free entry

A collaboration between award-winning Gunditjmara and Torres Strait Islander artist Lisa Waup, Melbourne-based fashion designer Ingrid Verner and Craft, this exhibition reveals a new collection of clothing and accessories, fusing art and fashion. Presented in Craft’s 24/7 window exhibition space, the garments embody Waup’s graphic visual and woven artwork, exploring themes of gender, identity and country. This work presents an important development in Craft’s Aboriginal Mentorship and Production Program as it speaks to the essence of collaborative and creative practice in contemporary Australian craft and design cultures.
