NGV Friday Nights returns this summer during Keith Haring | Jean-Michel Basquiat: Crossing Lines, paying homage to the 1980s and New York downtown. DJs spotlight an 80s music moment each week, mixed in with drag performances, classic cocktails and New York City street food.

Keith Haring | Jean-Michel Basquiat: Crossing Lines presents the work of two of the most significant and influential artists of the late twentieth century, revealing fascinating insights into their unique visual languages and the many intersections between their lives, practices and ideas. KAWS: Companionship in the Age of Loneliness is not open during NGV Friday Nights.

Jade Zoe spins a set of New Jack Swing, the fusion genre which originated with Janet Jackson’s 1986 album Control. This Melbourne based DJ, presenter and event curator is known for her genre-bending and dance floor sets that take in RnB, hip hop, dancehall, grime, pop and everything in between.
