PERFORMANCES
Proto Moro
Great Hall
7.30pm – 8.30pm
Proto Moro are a 4-piece Punk Funk outfit from Naarm. After a successful sold-out-year-long residency at Colour Club, they are ready to tear up any stage that appears before them. Proto Moro experiment with delving into the extended techniques of their instruments to create textures that are new and exciting for all types of listeners. They take influence from a mixture of genres such as funk, punk, techno, psychedelic rock, metal and spiritual jazz to create heavily smooth stylings that will leave you both bewildered and entranced. They have premiered on Worldwide FM and Stamp the Wax, and are recognised internationally as ‘Naarm’s innovators of Psychedelic Thrash Jazz’. Come join their exploration of the soul.
Millú
Great Hall
6.00pm – 7.30pm
8.30pm – 10.00pm
Millú has refined her skill as a selector with deeply considered sets that ride the energy of a room with vigour. A champion of Antipodean artistry, her collection is drenched with releases from local labels both old and new, trading in a commodity of heavy rhythms, big basslines, and tightly flowing mixing, Millú makes it impossible to leave the floor.
