Terracotta Warriors: Guardians of Immortality & Cai Guo-Qiang: The Transient Landscape
Terracotta Warriors: Guardians of Immortality is a large-scale presentation of the Qin Emperor’s terracotta warriors, discovered in 1974 in China’s Shaanxi province and widely described as the eighth wonder of the world. Presented in parallel, Cai Guo-Qiang: The Transient Landscape, sees the artist create new art works inspired by his home country’s culture and its enduring philosophical traditions.
7pm & 8.30pm CLYPSO
CLYPSO is a Sydney-based producer and vocalist, whose sound is a collage of hyperactive beats, grimy basslines and global tropical music culture inspired electronica – or as she describes it, “troppo chilli flakes”. CLYPSO blends and blurs tongue-in-cheek samples with urban laments over jungle beats and shiny synth riffs and in the last year has reached Top 10 on the Australian Viral 50 Spotify playlist as well as performing at Listen Out, Spilt Milk, Festival of the Sun, Lost Paradise and Meredith Festival.
