Celebrate Wurrdha Marra, the dedicated display of First Nations art and design at NGV Australia, with an afternoon of storytelling, performances and learning. This community program invites everyone to connect with and listen to the artists featured in the exhibition.
To kick off the afternoon of celebrating, join us for a Welcome to Country followed by a musical performance by Briggs & Muir. Husband and wife duo Glennys Briggs and Ian Muir have perfected a sound of their own, with harmonies that take you back to another time and place, yet remain contemporary.
Schedule
1pm – Welcome to Country
