To complement the 2016 Melbourne Winter Masterpieces exhibition Degas: A New Vision, the NGV stays open late with NGV Friday Nights.
Running over thirteen weeks from 24 June to 16 September, enjoy after-hours access to the exhibition, music, short talks, food and bars, and performances by local and international acts. This winter, rock, folk, pop and garage punk are all on the menu. Doors open 6pm. Headline act 8.30pm.
HEADLINE: CLARE BOWDITCH
Clare Bowditch is an ARIA Award-winning songwriter, sometimes actor, speaker, writer and creative-business mentor. Her versatile voice has seen her land Top Ten albums, be named Rolling Stone Magazine’s ‘Woman of the Year 2010’ for Contribution to Culture. She has co-written with Gotye, toured with Leonard Cohen, written for Harper’s Bazaar and the Drum, and currently hosts Afternoons on ABC 774.

Performing as a jazz quartet, Bon Appetit combine vocals with deep sounds of the double-bass, lively rhythmic chords of the piano, steady beat of the drums and ethereal timbre of the flute.
