Physical description
Sachet with two decorative square panels facing outwards. One panel consists of a combination of purple Berlin work in wool, with scalloped inner border filled with black wool dots and an outside border in purple. Embroidered in white silk thread feather stitch to form inner and outer square, with three initials embroidered in clear crystal beads in the centre. The edge is bound with black silk velvet. The other panel is a square of black silk velvet embroidered with floral motif in clear crystal beads. The sachet is lined in cream silk, with two pouch pockets trimmed with crystal beads. The centre spine of the sachet is quilted with a diamond pattern, and the point at which the lining joins the velvet binding is embroidered in cream silk feather stitch.
