Presented by City of Greater Geelong and Geelong Regional Library Corporation

Sorry you missed this one!

Join a panel of experts as they explore the ways in which clever design can contribute to community connection, resilience and social inclusion. Leading architect and educator Jefa Greenaway is joined on the panel by Valli Morphett, CEO of CoDesign Studio; Sae Ra Germaine Manager Digital Platforms at CAVAL, and Peter Seamer, author of Breaking Point: The Future of Australian Cities, and former CEO of the Victorian Planning Authority and of Federation Square. The discussion will cover a broad range of topics from looking at how cities can harness ambitions to incubate innovative technology, demonstrate leadership in health, science and education and accommodate start-ups to how Geelong can learn from its Wadawurrung leaders to ensure that their connections to the region are maintained, their connection to community is strengthened, and how Indigenous knowledge can be applied to rethinking the design of the city.
