It is three miles in length from the base to the summit, some portions of which are very steep. Mails / are conveyed by Cobb & Co.'s Coaches to Marysville and Woodspoint via this route daily. The scenery on the Black / Spur, and beyond as far as Myrtle Creek, is exceedinly picturesque.
