Sightlines and sewerage

Presented by Marjan Oczkowicz and the Geelong and Region Branch National Trust

Sorry you missed this one!

The Ovoid Sewer Aqueduct is one of the earliest examples of reinforced concrete construction in Australia. Situated overlooking the aqueduct, this event provides a unique opportunity to view the historic, heritage-listed structure while listening to a presentation on the history, value and future of the aqueduct as explored through a Deakin University final-year architectural design project by Marjan Oczkowicz. This is followed by a brief Q&A session before moving outside for light refreshments.
